What should eat in pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester, and my appetite has increased, but I want to eat healthy. What kind of foods should I prioritize during pregnancy to ensure both me and the baby are getting enough nutrients? My MIL has a lot of traditional advice, but I want to be sure.

My bhabhi is pregnant right now and my mom is constantly feeding her dry fruits, milk, and fresh apples. She says keeping some roasted makhana nearby is great for those sudden cravings. Just make sure everything is clean and fully cooked.

I was also so confused about this during my early days. Just focus on simple, clean food like fresh fruits, coconut water, boiled eggs, and green veggies. Don't force yourself to eat too much at once, small meals every two hours really helped me with the nausea.

When my wife was expecting, our gynecologist at the hospital gave us a very detailed monthly diet chart. Every pregnancy is different based on your weight and blood reports, so please ask your doctor clearly about what suits you best instead of following random charts.

Eat fresh fruits, leafy vegetables, and dairy products. It is completely normal to feel confused about your diet right now, you are doing great.

I totally understand how stressful this is, I used to panic over every single bite I took during my pregnancy. Just breathe and try to focus on nutrient-dense foods like dal, paneer, and fresh fruits. Your body is stronger than you think, just talk to your doctor to ease your mind.

Look, stop listening to ten different people online. Eat clean ghar ka khana, increase your milk and curd intake, and eat plenty of green vegetables. Keep oily street food and raw papaya away, and make sure you do not miss your calcium and iron pills.
