What pain reliever is safe during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester, and I have a terrible toothache. My mother-in-law said to be very careful with medicines. What pain reliever is safe to take during pregnancy?

Pregnancy is such a delicate time, and everything you take can affect the baby. Please, please do not take any pain reliever without first consulting your gynecologist. What's safe for one might not be for another. It's not worth the risk.

During pregnancy, it feels like even breathing wrong needs a doctor's approval, haha! But really, for painkillers, the only one universally 'safe' (and even then, with limits) is paracetamol. Your doctor is your best friend during these months, so ask them for everything!

It's so tough when you're pregnant and in pain, and you're constantly worrying about what's safe for the baby. That emotional burden itself is a lot. Please know you're not alone in this concern. The safest bet is always to ask your gynecologist for specific guidance.

Absolutely do NOT trust random advice from the internet or friends regarding medication during pregnancy. This is a medical decision that MUST come from your treating doctor, specifically your gynecologist. Many common painkillers are highly unsafe during pregnancy.

It's completely normal to feel anxious about taking any medicine during pregnancy because you want the best for your baby. That worry is valid! The most important thing is to consult your gynecologist. They will tell you exactly what's safe and what isn't.

Ugh, pain during pregnancy is already enough to ruin your cravings! 😂 But seriously, don't risk anything with meds. My friend was told only paracetamol, and that too sparingly. Better to just ask your doctor directly, so you can go back to enjoying your pickles and ice cream without worry!
