What nutritional deficiencies cause hair loss?

My hair has been thinning a lot recently, and I'm wondering if it's related to my diet. I try to eat healthy, but maybe I'm missing something important. What nutritional deficiencies are known to cause hair loss?

Common culprits for hair loss are iron deficiency (anemia), Vitamin D deficiency, and sometimes B vitamins like B12, and zinc. Thyroid issues can also cause it. Get a blood panel done for these, usually the doc will suggest it.

Having thyroid issues myself, I know how interconnected everything is. Hair loss is often linked to deficiencies like iron, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, and zinc. But thyroid imbalance itself can also cause it. So, along with checking for nutrient deficiencies, please get your thyroid levels checked too. Regular follow-ups with your doctor are key.

Oh, hair loss is so common! I've seen many friends dealing with it. Most often, it's due to iron deficiency, or low Vitamin D. Sometimes B12 or zinc too. The best thing is to get some blood tests done and then you'll know what to supplement or eat more of. Hope you find the cause!

I had severe hair loss once, and it turned out to be a combination of iron and Vitamin D deficiency. It's crucial to get a full checkup because self-diagnosing can be risky. Don't just take supplements blindly; a doctor can identify the exact deficiency and dosage. My complication was from taking too much of one vitamin.

In our homes, we often link hair fall to lack of iron or weak body. Science says it's often deficiencies like iron, Vitamin D, and B12. Sometimes zinc too. It's always best to get a blood test done from a good lab and consult your doctor; they will guide you properly.

My daughter started losing hair, and we found out it was due to low iron and Vitamin D. These are very common deficiencies that lead to hair loss. B12 and zinc also play a role. Get a blood test done for these essential vitamins and minerals. After confirming, a doctor can prescribe supplements and advise on diet changes.
