What meds cause hair loss?

I've been noticing a lot of hair fall recently, more than usual. I'm on some medication for my thyroid, so I'm worried if that might be causing it or if there are other common medicines that cause hair loss.

This is a really important question. As someone with thyroid issues, I've learned that even hormonal imbalances can cause hair loss, let alone medicines. Several medications, like some for blood pressure, depression, blood thinners, and even certain acne treatments, can lead to hair shedding. Always discuss hair loss with your doctor and keep up with your regular tests.

Hair loss? Great, another thing to add to the list of worries after a sleepless night! Honestly, many meds can cause it – think blood thinners, some anti-depressants, even excess Vitamin A. Best to ask your doctor what might be affecting your precious locks, before you end up looking like my pillow after a bad dream.

Hey, don't stress too much about hair loss, it's quite common and can be due to so many things, including medicines. I've heard some meds for blood pressure or even acne can cause it. The best thing is to talk to your doctor or a dermatologist, they can actually pinpoint what's causing it and suggest solutions. You'll figure it out!

Oh, hair loss, tell me about it! At my age, I think breathing itself causes hair loss. But seriously, yes, many medicines are known for it – blood thinners, meds for arthritis, even some anti-depressants. It's a real headache (pun intended). Best to discuss with the doctor if you suspect any of your meds are causing it.

It's understandable to be concerned about hair loss. Several medications can indeed have this side effect, including certain ones for heart conditions, mood disorders, or even some hormonal treatments. If you're experiencing hair loss and are on medication, please talk to your doctor about it. They can review your meds and offer solutions.

Hair loss can be unsettling. While many medicines like blood thinners or high blood pressure meds might be a factor, always discuss this with your doctor. Alongside medical advice, gentle yoga and stress-reducing pranayama can also help improve overall health and circulation, which supports hair growth. But consult your doctor first.
