What kind of dates for pregnancy?

My sister-in-law told me that eating dates is really good during pregnancy, especially in the last trimester. But when I went to the market, there were so many types! Can someone tell me which ones are safe and best for expecting mothers?

Dates are good in pregnancy, but like any fruit, moderation is key due to sugar content. My endocrinologist always stressed on monitoring everything closely, especially with conditions like thyroid. So, for specific types or quantities of dates, please check with your gynaecologist.

During my pregnancy, my gynaecologist actually recommended dates, especially in the last trimester. Medjool dates are popular, but any good quality, fresh dates like Fard or Deglet Nour are fine. They're great for natural energy and fiber, which helps with constipation. Just don't overdo it, maybe 4-6 small dates a day.

Dates for pregnancy? Not the romantic kind, obviously, haha! But the fruit. Any good quality, fresh dates are generally fine. They're like nature's energy bar for expecting moms. Just don't eat a whole box, moderation is the name of the game!

Oh, dates are good for pregnancy? I didn't know that. Which type is best, like the soft ones or the dried ones? And how many should we eat? I'm trying to learn as much as possible for future.

Dates are a traditional and natural source of energy and nutrients for pregnant women, especially in the last few weeks. Any good quality, fresh dates are usually fine. However, it's always best to discuss the quantity and suitability with your gynaecologist, especially if you have gestational diabetes or any other concerns.

Dates are like superfoods for expecting moms! 💖 Any good quality, soft dates are generally great, especially in the third trimester. They help with energy and even thought to help with labor. Just remember to have them in moderation! 😊

While dates are generally considered safe and beneficial in pregnancy, it's always prudent to consult your gynaecologist or a nutritionist. They can advise on the best types and appropriate quantities based on your individual health status and any pre-existing conditions like gestational diabetes. Better safe than sorry.
