What is the work of kidney in human body?

We were discussing the human body in my biology class, and I got a bit confused about the organs. I know kidneys are important, but I'm not totally clear on their main function. What is the work of the kidney in the human body?

The kidneys are super important, ji. They filter all the waste and toxins from our blood, which then goes out as urine. Like how I try to filter out unhealthy ingredients from my food. They also help control blood pressure and make hormones. So, keep them healthy by drinking enough water.

The kidneys are vital. For someone like me with high BP, their function is even more critical because they help regulate blood pressure and fluid balance. Regular checkups, controlling BP, and a low-sodium diet are crucial to keep them working well.

Basically, your kidneys are your body's main filtration system. They filter waste products from your blood, balance electrolytes, help control blood pressure, and produce red blood cells. Think of them as tiny, hardworking cleaners. So, hydrating well is the easiest way to support them!

Our kidneys are like the body's natural purifiers, filtering out all the bad stuff and extra water from our blood to make urine. They also do other important jobs like keeping our bones strong and controlling blood pressure. So, take care of them, drink plenty of water, and don't take them for granted.

The kidneys perform several critical functions: they filter waste products from the blood, regulate fluid and electrolyte balance, produce hormones, and help control blood pressure. Maintaining kidney health is essential for overall well-being. For specific concerns, always consult a nephrologist.

From a diet perspective, kidneys are central to processing what we eat and drink. They filter out metabolic waste. That's why a diet with moderate protein, low sodium, and plenty of water is so important. I always emphasize fresh vegetarian food to reduce the burden on them.
