What is the treatment for type 2 diabetes?

My husband was just diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. We're trying to figure out what changes we need to make and what kind of treatments are usually prescribed. Is it mostly diet and exercise, or are there medications too?

Hey, don't stress too much! Type 2 diabetes is super manageable. It's mostly about lifestyle changes – diet, exercise, and sometimes meds if the doc says. My uncle controls his sugar levels really well just by being consistent.

I was diagnosed with type 2 last year, it was a shock! But honestly, regular walks, cutting down on sweets and fried food, and taking my prescribed meds on time made a huge difference. My sugar levels are almost normal now. It's totally doable, just takes discipline.

Yo, type 2 diabetes treatment is pretty standard from what I've heard. Mostly diet control and exercise. My dad takes some pills too. Just gotta stick to the routine and like, not eat too much junk food. It's a long game, I guess.

Bete, type 2 diabetes ko toh khane-peene se hi control karna padta hai sabse pehle. Roz subah thoda walk karo, meetha kam khao. Aur doctor ki dawa toh leni hi hai. Kabhi kabhi karele ka juice ya methi dana bhi fayda karta hai, par doc se pooch ke hi karna.

It can be really tough to hear you have type 2 diabetes, I know the feeling. Initially, I felt so down. But it's okay to feel that way. The main thing is to find a good doctor, follow their advice for meds, and make those diet and exercise changes step by step. You're not alone in this struggle.
