What is the treatment for colon cancer?

A close family friend recently got news about colon cancer. It's quite shocking. I was just wondering what kind of treatment options are usually available for this kind of cancer. Any information would be helpful.

Treatment usually involves surgery to remove the affected part, sometimes followed by chemotherapy or radiation! 🌸 The recovery rates are actually very good when detected early, so please stay positive! 👍

The main treatments are surgery and chemotherapy. I have been having persistent stomach issues and am super worried about it; did anyone else have similar symptoms before getting tested?

My uncle underwent surgery for colon cancer last year followed by chemotherapy. The treatment went smoothly and his regular follow-up scans are all clear now. It's best to follow the doctor's protocol.

In my long life, I have seen many people face this diagnosis and recover fully. With modern surgery and therapy, cancer treatment has become highly precise. Have faith in your medical team and take it one day at a time.

I am just reading about this and it sounds quite complex. From what I understand, surgery is the main step. Does anyone know how long the hospital stay usually is after such a surgery?
