My doctor said I have 'bone-on-bone' knee pain, and it's making it very hard to walk. I'm looking for the most effective treatment to reduce this severe pain.

My mother-in-law has bone-on-bone knee pain, it's so tough to watch her struggle. The doctor has prescribed physiotherapy and some pain relief gels for now. We also got her some special shoes and a walking stick to reduce pressure. It's all about managing the pain and maintaining mobility as much as possible.

Aiyo, knee pain like that is very difficult, anna. My auntie had this issue. At home, we would give her warm oil massage, but the doctor always said it's temporary relief. She finally had to get knee replacement surgery, and now she is much better. Always trust the doctor's advice for something this serious.

Oh, bone-on-bone knee pain, I totally get how debilitating that can be. It's not just physical pain, it impacts your whole life. Many people I know find relief with regular, targeted physical therapy and sometimes injections. Surgery is often a last resort, but if it improves quality of life, it's worth considering. Sending you strength!

Bone-on-bone knee pain is serious, please don't take it lightly. My cousin tried to manage it with just painkillers and home remedies, and it got much worse, leading to complications before surgery. It's absolutely essential to see an orthopaedic surgeon who can properly assess the damage and discuss all your options, including surgery if needed. Get a professional opinion right away.

I just recovered from severe knee pain, it was so bad I couldn't even climb stairs. My orthopaedic doctor first tried knee injections and gave me specific exercises. When that wasn't enough, we went for knee replacement. It was a long journey but now I can walk freely. Don't delay seeing a good specialist!
