What is rapid weight gain?

Lately, I've noticed I'm gaining weight much faster than usual, even without significant changes to my diet or activity. I'm worried and want to know what 'rapid weight gain' could mean.

Yaar, rapid weight gain actually means putting on a lot of weight in a very short time without any obvious reason. It could be due to hormonal changes or thyroid issues. Better to consult a doctor and get some blood tests done, tension mat lo.

I panicked so much when I suddenly gained 4 kgs in two weeks last year. Turns out it was just water retention and stress-related hormonal imbalance. Once I spoke to my gynecologist, we sorted it out easily, so please don't stress.

With my PCOS experience, sudden weight gain is a common concern due to insulin resistance. However, it can also point to other medical conditions, so I wouldn't recommend self-diagnosing. It's best to book an endocrinologist appointment.

Hey, don't stress too much! Rapid weight gain is just gaining weight quickly, which is often fixable once you find the root cause. Go see a physician, get your thyroid checked, and everything will be fine, trust me.

Sudden weight gain can sometimes be due to fluid retention or thyroid sluggishness. Drinking cumin water and reducing sodium helps with water weight, but if the gain is very sudden or accompanied by swelling in legs, please see a doctor immediately.
