What is pain in upper right abdomen under ribs?

Since last week, I've been getting this dull ache right under my ribs on the upper right side. It's not constant, but it comes and goes, especially after eating. Wondering what could be causing it.

Oh god, I completely understand if you're worried about this! Pain in that area always makes me anxious because there are so many organs there. It could be anything from gallstones, liver issues, to even just gas or indigestion. Please don't ignore it, it's totally valid to be concerned, and you should get it checked out by a doctor soon.

This kind of pain definitely needs attention. For someone like me managing diabetes, liver and gallbladder health are crucial. Pain in that area could indicate issues with your gallbladder (like gallstones), liver problems, stomach ulcers, or even simply bad indigestion. It's important to get it checked by a doctor to rule out anything serious. Also, watch your diet and sugar intake, as they impact these organs too.

Pain in the upper right abdomen, just below the ribs, can be a symptom of several things. Given it's where your gallbladder and liver are, it could be related to those organs, like gallstones or inflammation. Sometimes it's just gas or acidity from certain foods. While diet is important, for persistent pain, it's absolutely vital to consult a doctor. Don't try to manage this with just food changes alone.

This exact pain gives me so much anxiety! I always think of the worst. Is it the liver? Is it gallstones? Has anyone else felt this and it turned out to be something minor, like just bad acidity? It's really hard to know what to do without panicking, but it does worry me a lot.

As someone with PCOS, I've learned that symptoms can be tricky and vary a lot, so I never assume anything. Pain in the upper right abdomen under the ribs can be from many things, like gallstones, liver issues, or even just gas. It's really hard to say without a doctor. Please don't self-diagnose and definitely get it checked out. Sending you support!

My mother used to say, 'Listen to your body, it tells you many things.' Pain in the upper right abdomen, under the ribs, can be due to many reasons. It could be problems with your gallbladder, liver, or even just some acidity. While home remedies can help for small discomforts, for anything persistent or severe, please see a doctor. They will know best.
