Kidney damage is when your kidneys lose their ability to filter waste from your blood, which I experienced due to severe dehydration and medication abuse. Luckily, mine was acute and I recovered fully by drinking plenty of fluids and stopping those painkillers under my doctor's guidance.

I totally get it, hearing the words 'kidney damage' can make anyone freeze with fear. It just means the kidneys have some harm or scarring that stops them from filtering blood properly. Please stay strong and speak to a nephrologist, they can help manage it.

It's basically when your kidneys get scarred or injured, usually because of high BP or long-term diabetes. I had a scare last year when my protein levels in urine came back high. Got my diet sorted out immediately and now things are under control.

Think of it as your home water purifier's candle getting choked with dirt, so it stops working properly! It sounds super scary, but many times it's manageable with just lifestyle changes and some simple pills. No need to stress!

As someone managing high blood pressure, I know that uncontrolled BP is a major cause of kidney damage. The high pressure ruins the blood vessels in the kidneys over time. Please keep your BP in check and get your renal function tests done regularly.

Kidney damage happens when we ignore our body's natural balance. Drinking enough water and eating simple, low-salt home-cooked meals is very important. But remember, once damage is detected, you must follow the doctor's medicine strictly along with simple food.

Kidney damage can be silent and might not show any symptoms until it progresses quite a bit. That is why it is so important to get regular blood and urine tests, especially a creatinine test, to be absolutely safe.

Kidney damage is the gradual loss of the kidney's filtering capacity. Along with your regular medical treatment, practicing gentle yoga like Mandukasana and keeping your mind calm can help improve blood flow and support your body's natural healing.

In simple terms, kidney damage means the nephrons (filtering units) are injured and leaking protein into urine instead of keeping it in the blood. If you have diabetes or high BP, make sure you get a routine microalbuminuria test to catch any early damage.

Honestly, kidney damage is what my doctor says I am heading towards if I don't stop drinking ten cups of black coffee and actually sleep at night. It's basically when your body's filters get worn out and can't clean your system anymore. Take care of them, guys!
