What is happening in the first month of pregnancy?

I've just missed my period and got a positive test, so I think I'm in my first month of pregnancy. I'm curious to know what is happening in the first month of pregnancy, both for me and the baby. Any insights on symptoms or developments?

The first month is so confusing! It's usually when you just find out you're pregnant, right? The baby is literally just a cluster of cells, but the neural tube and heart start forming. I felt so tired and bloated. Did anyone else feel incredibly anxious about everything in that first month?

First month of pregnancy? For the woman, it's probably missing her period and starting to feel super tired. For the baby, it's just a tiny blob of cells deciding to become a human, forming a brain and heart. For the man... well, he's probably still figuring out what happened. No sleep for anyone!

It's totally normal to wonder what's happening in the first month, I used to overthink everything! Basically, the fertilized egg implants in the uterus, and the embryo starts forming rapidly. Key structures like the brain, spinal cord, and heart begin to develop. You might feel fatigue or nausea. It's a crucial time, so take care of yourself.

In the first month, the baby is just a tiny embryo, but so much is happening! The neural tube, which becomes the brain and spinal cord, starts forming. You'll likely just be experiencing missed periods and maybe some fatigue. Keep taking your folic acid and eating well. Small, frequent meals can help with any nausea.

Ah, the first month! That's when the little seed is just starting to take root, beta. The embryo is forming, and important parts like the brain and heart begin to develop. Most women just realize they are pregnant around this time. It's a time for quiet care and excitement. Don't worry too much, just listen to your doctor.
