What is a pregnancy doctor called?

My sister just found out she's pregnant and she's trying to find a good doctor. What is the proper term for a doctor who specializes in pregnancy and childbirth? We want to search correctly.

For pregnancy, you need an Obstetrician, or Obs-Gynae. Just like I have to regularly follow up with my endocrinologist for thyroid, pregnant women need consistent care. Regular check-ups are super important for both mom and baby, so finding a good one is key. Don't skip any appointments!

Amma always says, 'for baby, best care is important'. So yes, an Obstetrician is who you see for pregnancy. They are specialists in childbirth and women's health. While family advice is valuable, for medical care during pregnancy, always trust your doctor fully. They have the training and knowledge.

It's called an Obstetrician, or a gynaecologist specializing in obstetrics. Don't take pregnancy lightly, please. I ignored some health signs once and it led to complications later. So, any questions, any doubts, just go to the doctor. Don't google or wait. Get proper medical advice always.

Yes, an Obstetrician-Gynecologist. For us, with PCOS, it's even more crucial to have a good OB/GYN who understands our history. Don't just pick anyone, find someone who listens and is experienced with any potential complications. It's a journey, and you need a good doctor by your side.

Ho na, they are generally called an Obstetrician or sometimes an OB/GYN. They specialise in everything related to pregnancy and delivery. So, it's important to find a good one you trust, haan na?

A pregnancy doctor is primarily called an Obstetrician, often shortened to OB. They're specialized in caring for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. It's a big journey, and they're there to guide you through it safely. Don't hesitate to ask them any question, big or small.

Oh, so like, for general women's health they're gynaecologists, but specifically for pregnancy, they're called obstetricians, right? I was actually wondering this, good to know! My friend is expecting, so I wanted to sound smart, haha.

Haan beta, humare yahan toh log 'lady doctor' bolte hain generally, but unka asli naam Obstetrician hota hai. Wo hi dekhte hain jab bachcha pet mein hota hai. Bahut acche se dhyaan rakhte hain maa aur bachche ka. Bhagwan unka bhala kare.

The one who decides when your wife can finally sleep on her stomach again, haha! Just kidding. They're Obstetricians. And trust me, you'll get to know them very well. Ours was basically a part of our family by the end. Bless them for dealing with our 3 AM questions.
