What helps with morning sickness during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and the morning sickness is really getting to me. It's hard to eat anything or even get out of bed. Does anyone have any effective tips or home remedies that helped them with morning sickness?

Morning sickness is horrible, but it's often a sign of a healthy pregnancy. Try eating small, frequent meals throughout the day instead of large ones. Keep plain crackers or a dry toast next to your bed to eat before even getting up. Ginger candies or ginger tea can also provide relief. Consult your gynaecologist for specific anti-nausea meds if it's severe.

For morning sickness, many swear by sips of lemon water, nibbling on ginger biscuits, or smelling fresh mint. Acupressure wristbands can also offer some relief for some. However, if you're unable to keep anything down or are constantly dehydrated, it's a serious matter and you must see your doctor immediately, don't delay.

Morning sickness? More like all-day, all-night sickness! I thought I'd get some rest in pregnancy, but nope. My wife tried everything. Cold food, bland food, anything that didn't smell offensive. Honestly, just finding something, anything, you can keep down is a victory. And sleep, lots of it, if possible!

During pregnancy, morning sickness is very common. My mother and grandmother always advised having a few plain biscuits or a dry toast first thing in the morning, even before getting out of bed. Sips of tender coconut water also help. But for severe cases, your gynaecologist is the best person to consult; they can prescribe safe medication.

While I don't have direct experience with morning sickness, maintaining a stable diet and regular checkups were vital for my wife during her pregnancy, especially with my high BP. So, definitely ensure you're hydrating well and keeping up with all your doctor's appointments. Discuss all symptoms, however small, with your doctor.
