What helps reflux in pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester, and lately, the reflux has been terrible, especially after meals. It's making me really uncomfortable and I can't sleep properly. What can I do to help relieve this reflux during pregnancy?

Pregnancy reflux is the worst, especially when you're trying to get things done! What worked for me was eating small, frequent meals and avoiding anything spicy or fried, particularly in the evening. Also, sleeping with my head slightly elevated helped a lot. Keep some antacids handy, but check with your doctor for safe brands.

For pregnancy reflux, I'd suggest tracking your food intake on an app to identify triggers. Eating slowly and avoiding late-night meals are key. Also, try to stay upright for at least an hour after eating. Some apps even remind you to do this! If it's severe, your doctor might prescribe a safe medication.

I totally get it, pregnancy reflux is absolutely miserable. It's hard to enjoy anything when you're constantly burning. Try to avoid lying down immediately after eating. Small sips of milk or cold water can sometimes offer temporary relief. And don't be afraid to talk to your gynaecologist about safe medications; you don't have to suffer silently.

Oh, pregnancy reflux is a true challenge! I swear by small, bland meals – think khichdi, curd rice. Avoid anything acidic, chocolate, or mint. Elevating your head with extra pillows while sleeping makes a huge difference. And always keep a doctor-approved antacid or Gaviscon close. It's temporary, hang in there!

For pregnancy reflux, gentle breathing exercises and staying calm can surprisingly help. I found that avoiding stress and not rushing my meals made a difference. Also, try to sit upright in a comfortable position after eating for a while. Always combine these with your doctor's advice.

My wife had really bad reflux when she was pregnant. She literally swore by Gaviscon and avoiding spicy food, especially at night. Also, she used like three pillows to sleep elevated. It sucked for her, but these things helped a bit. Definitely ask your doctor for proper meds.

Pregnancy reflux can be persistent. While lifestyle changes like smaller meals and avoiding triggers (spicy, fried food) are universally recommended, if it's severe, don't just rely on home remedies. Talk to your gynaecologist. There are safe medications they can prescribe. It's crucial to manage it properly for your comfort and baby's well-being.
