What happens if you never sleep?

I'm studying for my exams and have been pulling a lot of all-nighters, barely sleeping for the past few days. I feel really exhausted. What happens to your body and mind if you practically never sleep for an extended period?

If you don't sleep, your muscles won't recover, your stress hormones will skyrocket, and your physical performance will drop to zero. Sleep is just as important as your diet and gym sessions for overall recovery. Try to set a strict screen-off time before bed.

Honestly during exams I tried staying awake for 40 hours straight and my brain literally turned into mush. I couldn't even read a simple line without forgetting it instantly. Never doing that again, sleep is seriously underrated.

Yaar, if you never sleep, your body will actually shut down within a few days. I had bad insomnia last year and it felt like a nightmare, my anxiety went through the roof. Please don't take sleep lightly, consult a doctor if you can't sleep.

Agree with others, lack of sleep completely ruins your health. Try drinking warm milk and keeping your room dark to help you sleep.

When I was having severe sleep issues, my doctor explained that prolonged sleep deprivation can lead to hallucinations, weakened immunity, and high blood pressure. The brain needs sleep to clear out metabolic waste. Please seek medical help if you are experiencing chronic insomnia.
