What happens if you have a 110 degree fever?

I heard someone talking about a 110-degree fever, which sounds extremely high. What actually happens to the body if the temperature gets that high? Is it possible for someone to survive that?

A 110-degree reading is likely a thermometer error or an absolute medical emergency, as a human body cannot survive at that temperature. Please call an ambulance immediately if the person is unresponsive or burning up.

Oh dear! Please check your thermometer again because 110 degrees is not possible for a living person. But if someone is extremely hot, please rush them to the hospital right away! 🚨

I can only imagine the sheer panic you must be feeling seeing that number. Take a deep breath, verify with another thermometer, but treat it as a critical emergency and head to the hospital immediately.

Cold water sponging can help slightly, but a fever of this scale is highly fatal and cannot be treated at home. Please go to a hospital emergency room immediately.

I was looking up extreme temperatures, and medically, anything above 108 is fatal to brain cells. If this is a real reading, the person needs emergency cooling and immediate ICU care.

Never ignore such extreme symptoms. A delay of even a few minutes can be fatal, so please get medical help right now.
