What happens if you get shot in the liver?

I watch a lot of action movies, and sometimes people get shot in different places. It made me wonder, what's the immediate and long-term impact if you get shot specifically in the liver?

Such a severe trauma is deeply shocking for the physical body and spirit. I pray for peace and strength, and that immediate, life-saving medical care is provided to heal the physical body.

Even reading or thinking about this makes my heart race with anxiety. Please, if this is a real-life situation, call an ambulance immediately as it causes rapid blood loss and is life-threatening.

I survived a severe abdominal trauma last year that ruptured my liver. It required emergency surgery to pack the liver, weeks in the ICU, and months of painful recovery, but the liver can actually regenerate and heal over time if you get timely medical help.

This is an absolute medical emergency of the highest order. The liver is highly vascular, so any penetrating injury requires immediate trauma surgery at a major hospital to stop the internal bleeding.

Bhai, liver me shot lagna matlab direct emergency ICU case hai, na. Massive internal bleeding hoti hai aur patient instantly shock me jaa sakta hai. Immediately trauma center bhagna chahiye bina ek second waste kiye.

Let's be very clear: a gunshot wound to the liver is fatal within minutes to hours without emergency surgery. It causes massive hemorrhaging, and only immediate surgical intervention can save the person's life.
