What happens if u go to sleep with a concussion?

My little cousin fell and hit his head yesterday. The doctor said it was a mild concussion and to keep an eye on him. Someone told me not to let him sleep, but then another said it's okay. What happens if you go to sleep with a concussion?

Honestly, if you've had a hard hit to the head, skip the late-night snack run and go straight to the clinic. Going to sleep immediately without a medical check is risky because you won't notice if you are slipping into unconsciousness.

When I had a bad bike fall, the ER doctor told my roommate to wake me up every two hours during the night. Sleeping is fine as long as a doctor has cleared you first, but you need someone to monitor if you are easily rousable. Go get checked first.

I panicked like crazy when my sister bumped her head and wanted to sleep. Actually, the old myth about never sleeping with a concussion is mostly outdated, but you still need a doctor to confirm there's no internal bleeding. Once cleared, rest is the best cure.

A head injury is a serious physical trauma. Do not try to manage this at home with rest or light meals; please visit a hospital emergency room to rule out severe complications before going to sleep.

I love using ice packs and herbal balms for normal headaches, but a concussion is a different story. Sleeping without a proper evaluation can hide serious symptoms, so please go to a clinic first to be safe.

Listen to me, don't go to sleep just yet. If you have any dizziness, nausea, or a severe headache, you need to go to the hospital immediately. Let a doctor evaluate you first, and then you can rest peacefully.

My mother would normally tell me to apply warm oil for head bumps, but for a real concussion, medical attention is paramount. It is dangerous to sleep if there are symptoms like vomiting or confusion, so please consult a doctor immediately.

Dude, don't just go to sleep, yaar. Actually, if you have a concussion, you need to verify there's no serious brain injury. Get a scan or at least see an emergency doctor before hitting the bed.
