What happens if a mini stroke goes untreated?

My father recently had what doctors called a 'mini-stroke', but he only realized it much later. He was lucky, but I keep thinking what if it had gone unnoticed? What happens if a mini stroke goes untreated for a long time?

It is absolutely terrifying to feel sudden numbness or slurred speech, even if it goes away in minutes. I ignored a minor episode once and the constant fear of a major stroke completely ruined my peace of mind. Please don't live in that anxiety; get to a doctor and get it treated immediately.

Do not listen to anyone telling you to take home remedies or wait and watch. A mini stroke, or TIA, is a major warning sign that a full-blown stroke is coming. You need a proper neurologist checkup and scans immediately to prevent permanent brain damage.

My family always says to drink warm water and rest, but for a mini stroke, that is not enough. Even if the symptoms of numbness or weakness disappear, the risk remains very high. Please visit a hospital immediately; the doctors know exactly how to protect your health.

Listen to me, a mini stroke is a clear warning from your body. If you leave it untreated, you are inviting a major stroke which can cause permanent paralysis or worse. Stop reading things online and go see a doctor today for proper blood thinners or tests.

My close friend had sudden blurry vision and weakness that went away in ten minutes, so he ignored it. Two days later, he suffered a massive stroke that affected his left side. Based on what we went through, I strongly suggest seeing a doctor right away if you experience this.
