During a stroke, blood supply to a part of the brain is suddenly cut off or a blood vessel bursts. This causes brain cells to begin dying within minutes, leading to sudden numbness in the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body. Immediate hospital treatment is absolutely critical.

Dimaag ki nason mein blockage hone se achanak bolna band ho jata hai aur muh ek taraf lachak jata hai. Aise samay mein koi dadi-nani ka nuska ya pani pilane ki galti bilkul na karein. Seedhe hospital bhagein kyunki har ek second dimaag ke liye bohot keemti hota hai.

During a stroke, the brain is deprived of oxygen, leading to sudden confusion, slurred speech, and loss of balance. Remember the FAST formula: Face drooping, Arm weakness, Speech difficulty, Time to call emergency services. Keep the contact number of the nearest hospital with an MRI facility ready.

My grandmother suddenly lost balance and couldn't lift her glass yesterday, but she is fine now. Is that also considered a stroke, or was it just normal muscle weakness? Should we still take her to a neurologist even if the symptoms went away?

During a stroke, brain tissue is damaged due to lack of blood flow, causing sudden paralysis or loss of speech. It requires immediate emergency medical intervention.

It is a massive neurological emergency where the brain basically suffers a sudden power outage due to blood clot or bleeding. It is not something you can sleep off or treat with a cup of tea. If someone can't smile or raise both arms, get them to an ER immediately.

Haan na, stroke ke waqt achanak se bolne mein bahut takleef hoti hai aur dimaag sunn ho jata hai. Actually, the cells start getting damaged very fast, so doctors say the first 3 hours are extremely crucial. Please don't waste time waiting for the local family doctor.
