What happens during a silent migraine?

My sister sometimes complains of migraine-like symptoms but without the head pain, which sounds very strange to me. She calls it a 'silent migraine'. What happens during a silent migraine if there's no pain?

During a silent migraine, you get all the sensory symptoms like aura, blind spots, and nausea, but without the actual head pain. Since these symptoms can look like blood pressure issues, it is very important to get your BP checked. Keeping a calm lifestyle and regular checkups helped me manage this.

It is also known as an acephalgic migraine. You might experience flashing lights in your eyes, tingling in your hands, or even sensitivity to noise, but your head won't throb. It is quite confusing, but recognizing these as migraine symptoms helps in managing them with your doctor's advice.

I get these visual disturbances and sudden brain fog occasionally, which my doctor said could be silent migraines linked to hormonal shifts from my PCOS. It is really unsettling when it happens. I would gently suggest consulting a neurologist just to rule out other things and feel safe.

I have had silent migraines for years, and they are so tricky. You suddenly feel dizzy, get a weird metallic taste, or see zigzag lines out of nowhere. My tip is to drink a large glass of water, sit in a dark room immediately, and avoid looking at any phone or computer screens.

A silent migraine is basically a migraine aura without the headache. You get visual distortions, speech difficulties, and even mild vertigo, but no pain. Don't panic thinking it's a stroke, but definitely get a proper diagnosis from a neurologist to be absolutely sure.

Actually, it is so confusing yaar. You feel completely out of it, like you are floating, and light suddenly hurts your eyes, but there is zero headache. People at work think I am making excuses because my head doesn't hurt, but silent migraines are very real and draining.

Bro, it is so weird! You feel super dizzy, see funny lights like a disco, and feel nauseous, but your head doesn't actually hurt. I thought I was just dehydrated from studying too much. Actually, my doctor told me it's a silent migraine and advised me to sleep properly.
