What foods should diabetics eat and avoid?

My neighbour has diabetes and keeps telling me different things to eat and not eat. I want a clear list of what foods are good for diabetics and which ones they should really stay away from.

Bro, honestly, cutting down on white rice and maida made the biggest difference for me. I switched to brown rice or multi-grain rotis and added way more salad to my plate. Don't completely starve yourself, just control the portions and you will be fine.

Please be very careful with what you eat because I ignored my diet and had to deal with severe kidney complications later. Avoid all kinds of fruit juices and processed sweets completely. It is best to consult a good diabetologist who can make a personalized diet chart for you.

Hey there! Try adding more green veggies like palak and methi to your daily meals, they work wonders! 🥬 Just stay away from those deep-fried samosas and sweet tea, and you are good to go. Keep smiling and stay active!

Ghar pe you can try adding a spoonful of methi seeds soaked in water every morning, it helped my family a lot. Focus on eating whole grains and plenty of fiber. But if your sugar levels are running extremely high or you feel dizzy, don't wait for home remedies and see a doctor immediately.

Everyone on the internet will give you different advice about eating karela juice or avoiding potatoes completely, but don't trust random tips blindly. What works for one person might cause a sudden spike for you. Get a proper blood test done and verify your meal plan with a qualified doctor.

Absolutely right, managing what you eat is the most important part of diabetes control. Try to avoid high-sugar foods as much as possible.
