Drinking lots of water is the easiest thing, but my lazy self can barely manage that between work and sleep. I hear garlic and onions are great, luckily they are in all my late-night food orders.

Haan ji, red bell peppers and apples are very good for the kidneys. High-sodium foods completely avoid karna, na? Simple ghar ki dahi and less salt is best.

My grandmother always recommended drinking simple barley water (jau ka paani) and eating fresh berries to keep the kidneys clean. It is gentle on the body and very hydrating.

I know how terrifying it feels when you see abnormal kidney test results. Eating low-potassium foods like apples and keeping hydrated really helped me calm down and recover.

Please be very careful with kidney health because minor issues can quickly turn severe like mine did. While cauliflower and cabbage are good, you must consult a nephrologist for a proper diet chart if you have any issues.
