What foods help with vomiting?

Feeling really nauseous and have vomited a couple of times. I need to eat something light to regain some strength. What foods are good to eat when you're vomiting?

When I feel extremely nauseous or feel like vomiting, I stick to sucking on a small piece of ginger or drinking plain lemon water. Since hormonal changes with PCOS can sometimes cause nausea, I keep my meals very light and non-greasy. Go slow with food and see how your body reacts.

Do not start eating random seeds or herbal mixtures while you are actively vomiting, as it can irritate your stomach more. Stick to basic ORS or coconut water to stay hydrated. If the vomiting continues more than three times, visit a doctor instead of trying home remedies.

Honestly, when I'm vomiting, the last thing I want to do is eat anything. I just tiny-sip on some cold ginger-ale or lemon water to get rid of that awful taste. Toast is about the only solid food my stomach allows on such days!

I had a terrible stomach bug last month and couldn't keep even water down. My mother gave me ice chips to suck on, which really helped control the urge to vomit. Once my stomach settled, very light moong dal water was a lifesaver!

When the body is throwing out impurities, it is best to let it rest and not force heavy foods. Drink small sips of warm fennel (saunf) water with a calm mind. Rest well and let your internal systems recover naturally.
