What foods clean out the liver?

I've been feeling a bit sluggish lately, and my sister suggested it might be good to 'detox' my liver. Are there certain foods that can help clean out the liver naturally?

My doctor explained that the liver is a self-cleaning organ, it doesn't need 'detox foods' to 'clean it out' in the literal sense. However, a diet rich in antioxidants and fiber *supports* its natural detoxification processes. This means lots of fruits, vegetables (especially cruciferous ones like broccoli, cauliflower), whole grains, garlic, and turmeric. Avoiding alcohol and processed foods is also crucial for liver health.

From a diabetic perspective, keeping the liver healthy is very important. My nutritionist focuses on a diet that reduces inflammation and sugar intake, which helps the liver. Lots of green leafy vegetables, whole fruits, lean proteins, and reducing refined carbs are key. These don't 'clean' it but keep it functioning optimally.

Beta, hamare zamane mein toh log bolte the nimbu paani aur haldi bahut acchi hai liver ke liye. Aur haan, sabzian, taaze phal. Ye sab cheezein shareer ko theek rakhti hain. Baki, liver toh apna kaam khud hi karta hai, usko bas achha khana do.

Haan na, log bahut baatein karte hain liver clean karne ke liye. Actually, koi special 'cleaning' food nahi hota. Par haan, you should eat healthy to support it. Like, lots of green veggies, garlic, fruits. Aur alcohol bilkul kam, ya na hi piyo. That helps the liver do its job well.
