What foods are good to eat after vomiting?

My little one sometimes throws up after eating something, and then I'm always confused about what to give them next. What are some good, light foods that one can eat after vomiting to settle the stomach? I don't want them to get sick again.

After a rough patch like vomiting, your body needs gentle care. Start with simple, light foods that bring comfort, like khichdi or soft rice. Stay positive, drink sips of water, and allow your body to heal. This too shall pass, just like a cloudy day.

After vomiting, your body is dehydrated. First, focus on rehydrating with ORS or coconut water. For food, keep it super light – maybe some plain dal ka paani, or idli. Don't rush into heavy meals. And once you feel better and doctor says okay, a gentle walk helps bring back energy.

Vomiting can really throw your body off balance, even affecting things like thyroid levels temporarily. So, focus on rehydration with ORS. As for food, start very light – plain rice, toast, or very simple vegetable broth. If it continues or you feel weak, always see a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Been there, it's the worst feeling! I always go for soft, easily digestible foods. Plain moong dal khichdi with just a little salt and ghee is my go-to. Sips of ginger tea also help settle the stomach. And don't forget ORS to get back those electrolytes, it's super important.

After vomiting, I always feel so weak and just the thought of food makes me nauseous. Does anyone else feel like that? I usually start with just sips of water, then maybe some thin daal ka paani. Is it okay to wait a few hours before eating anything solid?

Please, if you're feeling really unwell after vomiting or it's continuous, don't just ask here. See a doctor! For minor stuff, bland is best, but a doctor can rule out anything serious and give proper advice. No random internet remedies are worth risking your health.

After vomiting, your system is delicate, like a tender plant. Give it gentle nourishment. Start with light liquids, maybe a little coconut water or clear soup. Then move to soft, cooked foods like rice porridge or well-boiled vegetables. Breathe deeply and allow your body to naturally find its balance again.

Oh, this is a good question! I've always wondered too. My mom usually makes me bland rice and curd, or sometimes just plain toast. I've read about the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce, toast) being good for this, but not sure how common that is here.

Oh god, vomiting is such a horrible experience. I always worry about eating something that will just make it worse. I usually stick to extremely bland stuff like boiled potatoes or plain rice. And definitely avoid anything spicy or oily for a few days, it's just not worth the risk.
