For arthritis pain, my daadi used to say to eat food that keeps the body warm and strong. Like haldi wala doodh, and lots of greens. Also, a little bit of ginger and garlic in sabzi helps a lot. And eat fresh, simple food from home, not outside.

My family believes in the power of turmeric and ginger for pain, and my doctor also agrees they have anti-inflammatory properties. So, including these in your daily cooking, along with plenty of fresh vegetables, fruits, and omega-3 rich fish or flax seeds, is generally good for arthritis. But for severe pain, always trust your doctor's treatment.

As someone who's managed arthritis for years, I've found diet plays a significant role. An anti-inflammatory diet is key. This means increasing your intake of omega-3 rich foods like fatty fish (salmon, mackerel), flaxseeds, and walnuts. Load up on antioxidants from colorful fruits and vegetables. Turmeric and ginger are excellent too. Reduce processed foods and sugar, they only worsen inflammation.

I know from PCOS how much inflammation can impact the body. For arthritis, focusing on anti-inflammatory foods can be very helpful. This usually means things rich in omega-3s like fish, walnuts, and chia seeds, along with lots of berries and leafy greens. Turmeric and ginger are also great. Just remember to listen to your body and maybe try things slowly.

My child has juvenile arthritis, so we're very careful with diet. We focus on foods rich in omega-3s, like adding flaxseed powder to their smoothies, and ensuring they eat plenty of colorful vegetables and fruits for antioxidants. Turmeric milk is also a regular. We try to keep all meals homemade and minimize processed items to manage inflammation.

My rheumatologist emphasized an anti-inflammatory diet. He specifically mentioned incorporating fatty fish (like salmon) two to three times a week for omega-3s, and a wide variety of colorful fruits and vegetables for antioxidants, particularly berries and leafy greens. Also, spices like turmeric and ginger have scientific backing for reducing inflammation. He advised avoiding processed foods and excessive red meat.

For arthritis, the goal is to reduce inflammation, which a good diet really helps with. Focus on foods rich in omega-3s like fish, chia seeds, and walnuts. Lots of fresh fruits and green veggies provide antioxidants. Combine this with some gentle exercises, approved by your doctor, and you'll feel a definite difference. Skip the junk food, that just adds to inflammation.
