What does a 2 month pregnancy look like?

My period is two months late and I took a home test, it was positive! I'm so excited but also a little nervous. What changes can I expect in my body at two months pregnant?

At 2 months, you won't have a real baby bump yet, just some bloating that makes your pants tight. I remember feeling so anxious during this phase because I didn't 'look' pregnant but felt so sick. It is completely normal to feel overwhelmed, so please take it easy.

My doctor explained that at 2 months, the uterus is only about the size of a large lemon, so you won't show yet. The baby is growing quickly and developing major organs. I had to undergo my first dating scan around this time to confirm the heartbeat.

I was researching this for my sister recently. At 2 months (around 8 weeks), the baby is about the size of a raspberry! So outwardly there is no visible bump, but hormonally, symptoms like nausea and fatigue are usually at their peak.

Physically, you don't look pregnant at 2 months, but my wife faced a lot of fatigue and nausea. We found that eating dry biscuits before getting out of bed and having small, frequent home meals helped her manage the symptoms very practically.

At 2 months, the embryo becomes a fetus, but there is no external pregnancy bump visible. Symptoms like breast tenderness, frequent urination, and fatigue are common due to rising progesterone. It is highly recommended to follow your gynecologist's advice and continue prenatal vitamins.

My cousin is 2 months pregnant and honestly she just looks a little bloated like after a heavy meal. She says she is constantly tired and craving weird things already. It's crazy how much is happening inside when nothing shows on the outside!
