What doctor to see for knee pain?

My knees have started aching quite badly, especially after I do household chores. It's becoming difficult to move around. Which type of doctor should I visit for my knee pain?

Please go see an orthopedic doctor soon. I ignored a mild knee ache for over six months, thinking it was just because of climbing stairs, and it ended up damaging my cartilage. Early diagnosis is so important.

An orthopedic specialist is the right doctor for this. Along with their treatment, reducing inflammatory foods and maintaining a healthy weight through a clean diet can take a lot of pressure off your knees.

You should consult an orthopedic surgeon. Many people come to my pharmacy asking for pain sprays or knee braces, but getting an X-ray and letting a doctor check the joint is the only safe way to treat it.

Actually, you should see an orthopedist, yaar. I had bad knee pain after gym squats and tried applying pain gel for weeks, but the doctor finally diagnosed a minor ligament strain and sorted it with physiotherapy.

Agree with everyone, an orthopedic doctor is the absolute specialist you need to consult for knee issues.

Book an appointment with an orthopedic doctor. If you have a busy schedule, try to get an morning slot so you can get the consultation and any required knee X-ray done in one go without wasting the whole day.
