What doctor specializes in hair loss?

For the past few months, my hair fall has increased a lot, making my hair look thin. I'm worried it's getting worse. Is there a specific doctor who focuses on hair loss problems?

Actually, you should see a dermatologist, yaar. I kept trying those fancy onion shampoos and home packs, but only a skin and hair specialist could find out that my iron levels were super low and causing the shedding.

A dermatologist is the specialist you need. Don't waste money on expensive clinics that promise results in 10 days. Just get a basic consultation with a good derm, improve your protein intake, and wash your hair regularly with a mild shampoo.

You should consult a qualified dermatologist or a trichologist. Hair loss can be triggered by multiple factors like genetics, stress, or nutritional gaps, so self-treating is rarely effective. A clinical evaluation is the safest and most scientific way to address it.

A dermatologist is the expert! When I went for my hair fall, she told me my diet of chole bhature and momos wasn't helping at all. I had to add eggs, walnuts, and green veggies to my diet alongside her prescribed scalp serum.

I had severe hair thinning post-COVID and went to a dermatologist three months ago. He put me on a proper routine of multivitamins and a specific lotion, and I can finally see small baby hairs growing back now. Go see a professional, it works.

A skin specialist or dermatologist is the right doctor to see. While you take their medicine, you can gently apply a little lukewarm coconut oil mixed with curry leaves, but make sure you don't rub too hard as weak hair roots can break easily.

I am also facing a lot of hair fall lately and feeling very conscious. Is a dermatologist the same as a skin doctor, and do we need a referral from a general physician to meet them?

Go see a dermatologist. Many people come to my pharmacy asking for biotin gummies or hair growth oils, but it's much better to let a doctor diagnose if it's hormonal or nutritional before you spend on random supplements.

For hair loss, you must see a dermatologist. I also realized that high stress levels, which were affecting my blood pressure, were contributing to my hair fall too. Regular medical checkups and a calm lifestyle help a lot.

I totally get it, watching your hair clog the shower drain every morning is so stressful and upsetting. Please go see a dermatologist soon. Getting professional guidance will give you peace of mind and the right treatment.
