What do sore breasts feel like in early pregnancy?

I'm trying for a baby and I've been feeling some tenderness in my breasts for a few days now, which is a bit unusual for me. My period is not due yet, so I'm wondering if this could be an early sign. How exactly do sore breasts feel like when you're pregnant?

For me, it felt like a constant, dull ache and they were so sensitive that even water from the shower hitting them felt uncomfortable. It is like the swelling you get before your periods, but amplified three times. Wearing a supportive sports bra even to bed helped me sleep better.

They feel extremely heavy, tender, and sensitive even to the touch of your clothes, similar to period pain but much more intense. Wearing a soft, wireless cotton bra helps a lot, and applying a cool compress can soothe the throbbing feeling.

I am in my second trimester now, but in the first few weeks, my breasts felt incredibly full, tingly, and sore to the touch. The sides near the armpits were the most painful. Thankfully, that extreme soreness started getting much better by week 10.

They feel so heavy and sore that you feel like you are carrying two bowling balls on your chest. Even a gentle hug from your partner can make you want to scream. It is just your hormones throwing a party, but a good seamless bra will save your sanity.

They feel swollen, heavy, and extremely sensitive, especially around the nipples. It's an intense soreness caused by the sudden surge of estrogen and progesterone. Skip the underwire bras immediately and switch to comfortable, breathable maternity bralettes.
