What do cancer spots look like?

My chachi ji just got diagnosed with skin cancer, and now I'm checking every mole and spot on myself. I have a few weird-looking spots that are new. Can anyone tell me what cancer spots generally look like, just so I know if I should be very concerned?

At my age, every new spot on my skin makes me wonder if it's the end! Usually, risky spots have uneven borders, multiple colors, or keep growing. Best to let a dermatologist look at it so we don't waste energy worrying.

Don't panic. Cancerous spots, like melanoma, typically follow the ABCDE rule: they are asymmetrical, have irregular borders, change color, are larger than a pencil eraser, and evolve over time. Let's get it checked by a specialist just to be absolutely sure.

Cancerous skin spots are typically asymmetrical, multi-shaded, and grow noticeably over weeks. If you have a spot like this, stop researching online. Schedule a 15-minute dermatologist appointment this weekend to get a definitive biopsy or clinical opinion.

They are usually irregularly shaped and might crust or bleed. If your doctor suggests a biopsy to rule out skin cancer, check the rates at government medical colleges or diagnostic chains nearby, as they offer the same tests at a fraction of the cost.

They usually look irregular, dark, and change shape, unlike normal flat moles. I'm too tired from my night shifts to play doctor with my own skin, so if anything looks weird, I just go straight to the clinic. You should do the same!

They often appear as asymmetric moles with jagged edges, uneven coloring, or spots that bleed and don't heal. Please do not try to diagnose skin lesions at home. Go to a qualified dermatologist and get a proper clinical examination done.

These spots often look like moles but have uneven margins and dark, changing colors. Much like tracking your blood pressure numbers, keeping an eye on any changing skin lesions and getting them checked yearly is crucial for your long-term health.

Son, real cancerous spots are hard, have uneven colors, and sometimes itch or bleed. Do not apply any home pastes or leaves on such spots. Go to a proper doctor in a big hospital and get it tested.
