What diseases cause weight gain?

I've noticed I'm gaining weight even though my diet hasn't changed much. My wife said it might be a health issue, not just me eating more. Are there any specific diseases that can lead to weight gain?

Unexplained weight gain can be a sign something's off. Hypothyroidism is a big one, or even PCOS for women. Sometimes, it's certain medications or even just not enough sleep and too much stress. Always good to get it checked by a doctor. If they say it's okay, even a daily walk helps a lot.

Hey! Don't stress too much if you're gaining weight without a clear reason. It's often hormonal stuff like thyroid issues or PCOS. Sometimes certain meds can cause it too. Even lack of sleep can mess with your metabolism. Best to chat with a doctor to figure out what's going on, okay?

Oh, I've been there, gaining weight and not knowing why! I tried so many home remedies. But honestly, sometimes it's an underlying medical issue. Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) is a very common one, and also PCOS for ladies. Certain medicines can cause it too. Best to get proper tests done, it gives you peace of mind.

Honestly, unexplained weight gain is super common and can be linked to a few things. Thyroid issues, especially an underactive one (hypothyroidism), is a big one. Also, PCOS is a major cause for many women. Sometimes even certain medicines can make you gain weight. It's always a good idea to get it checked out by a doc, just to be sure!

I totally get how frustrating unexplained weight gain can be. It often makes you wonder what's going on internally. Common medical conditions that can cause it include hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and sometimes even certain medications. It's always best to get a medical opinion to understand the root cause.

Weight gain can be frustrating. Common culprits that are disease-related include hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid), Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and sometimes Cushing's syndrome. Certain medications, like some antidepressants or steroids, can also lead to weight gain. It's important to talk to your doctor to identify the exact cause.

Namaste. Weight gain without proper reason can be concerning. My mother always said to watch our diet, but sometimes it's more than that. Conditions like hypothyroidism where your thyroid is underactive, or PCOS in younger women, can cause it. Certain medications also. Always best to consult a doctor for proper diagnosis.
