What causes weight gain in belly?

I've been quite active and trying to eat healthy, but still, I see a lot of weight gain mainly in my belly area. What generally causes weight gain particularly in the belly?

Belly fat often builds up due to weak digestion and eating late at night. Try drinking warm fennel tea after meals and avoid heavy food after sunset. If you notice sudden bloating or pain along with the weight, please consult a doctor.

I can only share what happened to me; my belly ballooned up when I started a high-stress desk job with zero physical activity. Once I cut down on my daily sweet tea and started walking 8k steps, my stomach went back to normal.

Belly fat accumulation is scientifically linked to cortisol levels, insulin resistance, and visceral fat storage. If lifestyle changes like exercise and diet don't help, it's best to consult an endocrinologist to check for hormonal issues.

Dekho yaar, directly bolu toh refined sugar, junk food, aur beer peena band karo. Belly fat koi jadui tareeqe se nahi aata, ye hamare kharab diet aur aalas ki wajah se hi jamta hai. Move your body daily.

I have recently started noticing my lower belly getting bigger even though my weight is the same. Could this be because of bloating or is it actually fat? Should I change my exercise routine?

I totally get it, belly fat is the hardest thing to lose and it can make you feel so self-conscious. It is often caused by stress hormones storing fat in that specific area. Try to focus on stress-relief along with a healthy diet.
