What causes teeth pain?

I have this nagging toothache that comes and goes, but sometimes it's really sharp. I try to brush regularly, but it's still bothering me. What are the common things that cause tooth pain?

Teeth pain can be due to cavities, gum issues, or even sinus pressure. I sometimes get mild gum sensitivity during my hormonal shifts with PCOS, but it's always best to get a dentist to check it rather than guessing.

I panicked thinking I needed a painful root canal when my tooth started hurting suddenly last month. It turned out to be just a minor sensitivity from a new whitening toothpaste I used. Try avoiding very hot or cold food, but do see a dentist to be safe.

Sometimes teeth pain or jaw tightness is related to stress or teeth grinding during sleep. If your dentist says your teeth are fine, try incorporating gentle evening walks or light exercise to relieve tension, as long as your doctor says it is okay.

Please do not ignore ongoing tooth pain or try to just manage it with pain balms. I delayed visiting the dentist for a mild toothache, and it turned into a severe bone infection that required a complicated extraction. Get a proper dental examination immediately.

Oh no, teeth pain is the absolute worst because it stops you from enjoying your favorite food! It's usually caused by a cavity or some food getting stuck in your gums. Stop having cold sweets for a bit and book an appointment with a dentist soon so you can get back to eating happily.
