What causes spotting during pregnancy?

I am about 10 weeks pregnant, and sometimes I notice light brown spotting. It's usually very little, but it still makes me anxious. My doctor said not to worry too much unless it's heavy, but I want to understand what causes this.

When I had mild spotting in my first trimester, I immediately went to my hospital. The doctors there explained it can be hormonal or just the egg attaching, but they did a quick scan to be 100% sure. Please go to a proper clinic and ask your doctor clearly rather than guessing.

Look, spotting in pregnancy can happen due to minor things like implantation or irritation after an exam, but it can also be a warning sign. Don't sit around waiting or asking people online. Call your gynecologist immediately and get it checked, safety first.

I can totally feel how terrified you must be right now, seeing any blood during pregnancy is absolutely nerve-wracking. But please breathe; sometimes it is just cervix sensitivity or normal hormonal shifts. Just to ease your mind, please contact your doctor right away.

Spotting during pregnancy can actually happen because of minor cervical irritation or hormonal changes, yaar. But honestly, you shouldn't take any chances with this stuff. Just call your doctor immediately and get an ultrasound done to be safe.

I am also facing some light pink spotting today in my 8th week and I am so scared. Did any of you experience this and go on to have a healthy baby? I have called my doctor but the wait is making me very anxious.
