What causes rapid hair loss in females?

For the past few months, my hair has been falling out quite rapidly, and it's making my hair look much thinner. I'm a young woman and this is really bothering me. What could be causing such fast hair loss in females?

I faced massive hair fall a few months ago, and it turned out my ferritin and Vitamin D levels were extremely low. For us women, hormonal shifts, PCOS, or even sudden crash dieting can trigger this rapid shedding. Definitely get a blood test done and consult a dermatologist, it is very manageable.

I tried onion juice and curry leaves paste when my hair was falling out, which did help improve the texture of my remaining hair. But the actual shedding only stopped when I corrected my iron deficiency under a doctor's guidance. Home remedies are good, but don't ignore the internal medical reasons.

Please don't panic or cry looking at the hair on your brush, beta, that stress will only cause more hair fall. Rapid shedding in women is very often due to hormonal changes, low thyroid, or low iron. Let's get a basic blood test done and consult a good dermatologist who can guide you properly.

I know exactly how devastating it feels to see chunks of hair go down the drain, it literally made me cry every single day. It is usually related to hormonal imbalances or extreme physical stress, and it is not your fault at all. Please visit a dermatologist, they can really help stop this and ease your mind.

Haan na, sudden hair fall dekh kar dukh toh hota hi hai. It is usually due to thyroid issues, pregnancy, or low blood counts, ho na. Tension mat lo, kisi achhe skin doctor se consult kar lo, sab theek ho jayega.
