What causes pain in upper right abdomen?

I'm having a lot of pain in my upper right abdomen, almost like a dull ache that sometimes gets sharper. It's making me a little worried. What are the common causes for pain on the upper right side of the stomach?

I was just reading up on this because my friend had it, and apparently, upper right abdominal pain is often related to the gallbladder or liver, like gallstones. It seems really important to get an ultrasound done to be sure.

Managing thyroid issues has taught me that we must get regular checkups for any abdominal pain. Upper right pain can be a gallbladder issue, so please follow up with your doctor and get the necessary tests done.

My son had a dull ache in his upper right stomach after eating greasy food. It turned out to be a mild liver congestion, and our pediatrician sorted it out quickly. Please take your child or yourself to a doctor to get it diagnosed properly.

Between my late-night work shifts and poor sleep, my stomach always seems to be complaining. But upper right pain could be gallstones telling you to stop eating late! Do yourself a favor and see a doctor.

Let's hope it's just a little indigestion, but the upper right side has our liver and gallbladder! 🌸 Please do visit a doctor to make sure everything is perfectly fine.

I recently recovered from upper right abdominal pain, and it was gallstones that required surgery. The pain was unbearable, so please see a doctor immediately before it becomes an emergency.
