What causes nausea in pregnancy?

Ever since I got pregnant, I've been feeling nauseous a lot, especially in the mornings. My friends told me it's normal. I'm just curious, what actually causes this nausea in pregnant women?

Mostly, it's due to the fluctuating hormones, especially in the first trimester. While it's generally harmless, if it's very severe and you're losing weight, don't ignore it. Sometimes severe cases might need medication or even IV fluids, which can add to medical bills. So, consult your doctor early to avoid complications and higher costs.

Ah, the body's way of saying 'Surprise! We're making a human, and you're going to feel every single change!' Mostly it's those rogue hormones, hCG and estrogen, throwing a party in your system. Just remember, it's a phase, like a really long, annoying phase. Hang in there!

From my own experience, it was worst in the first three months. My doctor said it's totally normal and due to the rapidly changing hormone levels. I just focused on small, frequent bland meals and tried to distract myself. It really did get better with time, thankfully.

For many, it's just morning sickness from all the hormones. Things like ginger tea, dry toast, or smelling a cut lemon can sometimes help. But if you can't keep anything down, or feel very weak, please don't just rely on home remedies. A doctor's visit is a must in such cases.

Haan na, yeh to common hai. First trimester mein especially, hormones ka game hai saara. hCG aur estrogen badhte hain na, toh body react karti hai. Meri bhabhi ko bhi bohot hota tha. Doctor ne bola normal hai, halka khaana khao aur rest karo. Tension na lo, but if too bad, doc ko dikhao.

It's primarily caused by the surge in pregnancy hormones, mainly human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and estrogen. It's a normal physiological response. While uncomfortable, it's generally a sign of a healthy pregnancy progressing. Consult your OB-GYN for personalized management strategies.
