What causes headaches during pregnancy?

I am in my second trimester, and I've been getting frequent headaches, sometimes quite severe. My mother-in-law says it's normal during pregnancy, but I'm a bit worried. Is there a specific reason this happens?

During pregnancy, many changes happen in the body, and headaches can be a part of it. Stay calm, drink plenty of water, and ensure good rest. Keep your spirits high for the little one. But do share these concerns with your doctor, as their guidance is paramount for your well-being.

Ho na, pregnancy mein headaches bahut logon ko hote hain. Kabhi-kabhi dehydration se, ya sleep kam ho toh. Hormonal changes bhi ek reason hai. Par agar bahut zyada pain hai, ya vision blur ho rahi hai, toh doctor ko batana bahut zaroori hai, haan na.

Please don't ignore headaches during pregnancy, especially if they are severe or new. I once thought it was just 'pregnancy woes' and didn't mention a bad headache to my doctor quickly enough. It turned out to be related to my blood pressure. Always, always tell your OB-GYN everything, even if it feels minor.

Ugh, headaches during pregnancy sound rough! I guess it's probably all those crazy hormonal changes happening, right? Plus, maybe not sleeping properly or being stressed. My sister had them too. Best to just ask the gynaecologist, they'd know for sure.

Headaches in pregnancy can be due to a few things. Hormonal shifts are a big one, also dehydration, lack of sleep, or even low blood sugar. My wife tracked her symptoms on her pregnancy app, which helped her doctor identify patterns. If it's severe or sudden, definitely get checked, especially for blood pressure. Stay hydrated!

In our family, elders would say headaches are common in early pregnancy due to hormonal changes and sometimes low blood sugar. They would suggest rest and tender coconut water. But my doctor always said to inform her about any persistent headache, especially in the later stages, as it could indicate blood pressure issues. Always trust your doctor's word, dear.
