What can u not eat during pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and getting a lot of advice from family about what to eat and what to avoid. It's a bit confusing. Can someone give me a clear idea of what foods are generally considered unsafe or should not be eaten during pregnancy?

During pregnancy, it's better to be overly cautious than sorry. Avoid unpasteurized dairy, raw or undercooked meats/seafood, certain types of fish high in mercury, and unwashed fruits/vegetables. Also, limit caffeine. Always, always discuss your diet with your gynecologist for specific guidance tailored to your health.

When I was pregnant, my doctor strictly told me to avoid papaya, pineapple, and sesame seeds in large quantities. Also, no outside food much, especially street food, because of hygiene concerns. I just tried to stick to home-cooked, fresh meals as much as possible.

Oh, I just delivered a few months ago! My doctor gave me a whole list. Top ones were no raw eggs (like in some desserts), no unpasteurized milk, no seafood that's raw or not fully cooked, and definitely avoid shark, swordfish, king mackerel due to mercury. Also, processed meats like deli meats were a no-no. It feels like a lot initially, but you get used to it.

It's natural to be careful during pregnancy. Just try to eat fresh, healthy home food. Avoid anything that feels 'risky' or unhygienic. Your doctor will also guide you best.

Generally, it's advised to avoid anything that could potentially carry harmful bacteria like Listeria or Salmonella. This includes raw or undercooked eggs, meat, and seafood, unpasteurized milk products, and deli meats. Certain high-mercury fish are also out. Beyond that, it's best to consult your obstetrician for a comprehensive list and personalized advice, as recommendations can vary.

Ho na, pregnancy mein bahut dhyan rakhna padta hai. Generally, it's best to avoid raw or undercooked things, like certain non-veg or unpasteurized dairy. Aur haan, outside street food is also usually advised against, just to be safe from infections. Best to have fresh ghar ka khana.

While I believe in natural living, for pregnancy, certain foods are genuinely risky. Raw sprouts, unpasteurized juices, soft cheeses, and undercooked meat should be strictly avoided due to bacteria risk. Also, limit caffeine and avoid alcohol entirely. Always confirm with your doctor, don't rely only on home remedies for such important matters.
