What body temp is heat stroke?

It's scorching hot here these days, and my friend was feeling very unwell after being out in the sun. What body temperature indicates heat stroke? Just trying to be careful.

Oh, heat stroke is scary especially with kids! My son got really hot last summer and his temp was like 104°F (40°C). We rushed him to the doctor. They said anything above 103°F (39.4°C) needs immediate attention. Better safe than sorry, always.

From what I've read, heatstroke usually means a core body temperature of 104°F (40°C) or higher, along with other symptoms like confusion. Hydration is key to prevent this, so lots of water and electrolyte-rich drinks like coconut water are super important in this weather.

Honestly, rather than guessing a number, if you or anyone is feeling unwell with severe heat exposure, disorientation, or a very high temperature, please just go to the nearest good hospital. Doctors there can confirm heatstroke and start treatment right away. It's a medical emergency.

Yaar, this heat makes me so anxious about heatstroke. I keep checking symptoms online. Generally, it's considered above 103°F (39.4°C) where it gets really serious. If you suspect it, don't wait, get help immediately, it can be really dangerous.

Heat stroke is very serious. The temperature is usually very high, over 103-104°F. But it's not just the number, the person's condition matters. Anyone can get it, but people with underlying conditions like thyroid or diabetes need to be extra careful and always follow their doctor's advice on managing heat.

Namaste. From my understanding, a very high body temperature, usually around 104°F (40°C) or more, coupled with confusion or loss of consciousness, indicates heat stroke. Along with medical help, some cooling pranayama like Sheetali can help lower body temperature in less severe heat exhaustion, but for heatstroke, immediate medical care is essential.
