What body temp is a fever?
My child had a high temperature last night, and I was trying to figure out if it was a fever or just a bit warm. At what body temperature is it actually considered a fever?

Honestly, anything above 99.5F or 37.5C orally can be considered a low-grade fever. But if it's 100.4F (38C) or higher, then that's definitely a fever you need to pay attention to. Keep monitoring it, aur take it easy.
My doctor explained that generally, 100.4°F (38°C) or higher is clinically defined as a fever. They also said that axillary (armpit) temps are usually a bit lower than oral, so keep that in mind when checking. Always good to use a good thermometer.
Oh god, I always get so worried when I feel warm. Is 99F also considered a fever? Because sometimes I feel really bad even at that temperature. Does anyone else feel like that or is it just me?
Hey, it depends on how you measure it and what your normal body temp is. For me, with PCOS, my body feels warmer sometimes even without a high reading. Best to check with a doctor if you're feeling off, especially if it's persistent.
Mere saath bhi same hua tha last month. My doc said 100.4F (38C) and above is definitely a fever. Anything below that is considered 'elevated' but not full-blown fever. Keep hydrating and rest well, that helped me a lot.
Bro, anything above like 100F is when I start feeling properly ill. Before that it's just 'thoda garam' wala feeling. But yeah, 100.4 is what everyone says is a proper fever, right?

From my experience, if it crosses 100°F, I start taking it seriously. My kids usually get really cranky above that. Always better to consult a doctor if you are unsure, I just rely on my gut feeling and what my family doctor suggests.
Beta, if it's more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit, it's a fever. For small children, even 99.5 can make them uneasy. Try applying a cold compress on the forehead and keep drinking warm water. If it goes too high, please see a doctor right away, don't delay.
