What body cavity is the liver located in?

Just a general knowledge question I was curious about. Where exactly in the body is the liver situated, which cavity does it occupy?

The liver resides in the upper right part of the abdominal cavity, beneath the diaphragm. When we practice gentle twists in yoga or deep breathing (pranayama), we are subtly stimulating these organs. It helps with circulation and overall well-being. Feel its presence gently.

It's in the abdominal cavity, on the upper right side, just under the diaphragm. I had some liver issues in the past, and it can be quite emotionally draining. Knowing its exact location sometimes helps to understand where the discomfort is coming from. Be patient with yourself.

I think it's in the abdominal cavity, on the right side? Is it like, totally protected by the ribs there? Just curious, thank you.

The liver is predominantly in the upper right quadrant of the abdominal cavity, shielded by the rib cage. For a healthy liver, beyond knowing its location, a balanced vegetarian diet with minimal processed foods is crucial. Hydration is key too! Always consult a doc for specific dietary needs related to liver health.

I literally just learned this from my doctor after my recovery! The liver is located in the upper right side of your abdominal cavity, right below the diaphragm and underneath your rib cage. It's a pretty large organ. Make sure you take care of it!

Oh, the liver! That VIP organ that handles all our processing. It's located in the abdominal cavity, specifically the upper right part, chilling right under your diaphragm. Think of it as the boss of the upper belly area, protected by the rib cage. Keep it happy, it's a hard worker!
