What birth control does not cause weight gain?

I've been looking into different birth control options, but I'm very concerned about potential weight gain. I really want to avoid it if possible. Which birth control does not cause weight gain, or at least has the least effect?

From what I've tracked and read on various health platforms, non-hormonal options like the copper IUD (Paragard) typically don't cause weight gain as they don't release hormones. Hormonal methods like certain pills or implants might have varying effects, but many newer low-dose pills also claim minimal impact. It's a discussion to have with your gyno to see what aligns with your health goals.

My child, it is said that every body is different. What suits one, may not suit another. While I don't have medical knowledge about birth control, I can say that generally, doctors advise choices that have fewer side effects. It is best to consult your lady doctor; she will guide you to what is best for your health and body.

I can only speak from my personal experience, not give medical advice. I was also very worried about weight gain, so I opted for a non-hormonal IUD after talking to my doctor. So far, I haven't noticed any weight changes directly related to it. But everyone's body is unique, so please discuss it with a healthcare professional.

It's so tough trying to find birth control that doesn't mess with your body image, I completely understand that struggle. For me, non-hormonal methods like the copper IUD had no impact on my weight, which was a huge relief. It's a very personal choice, and talking to a supportive doctor who understands your concerns is really important for your peace of mind.

Hey, I've heard my female friends discussing this a lot. Seems like the copper IUD is generally considered the one that doesn't cause weight gain since it's non-hormonal. But honestly, it's best to chat with a doctor about it; they'd know all the pros and cons for individual cases. Don't just rely on internet info.
