What are the worst foods for diabetics?

My husband was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and we are trying to change our diet. I want to know which foods are really bad for diabetics. What are the worst foods for diabetics that we should definitely avoid?

I used to think eating white rice and maida daily was fine as long as I took my pill, but that negligence ruined my HbA1c levels. Refined carbs, sugary juices, and packed namkeens are the absolute worst. Please get your sugars checked regularly and don't make the mistakes I did.

Honestly, after staying up all night with work, all I want is a sweet chai and biscuits, but my doctor says those are a nightmare for diabetes. White sugar, processed snacks, and sweet bakery items are the absolute worst. It is tough to avoid them when you are tired, but your health will thank you.

Hey, don't stress too much about cutting out everything you love! Just try to avoid deep-fried stuff, white bread, and sugary sodas as much as possible. Portion control is the real game here, so just have smaller bites and stay active.

I can only speak from my own experience with managing my sugars. I found that white bread, regular potatoes, and sweetened mango shakes cause my blood sugar to spike like crazy. Switching to whole grains and raw salads has worked much better for me.

I am quite new to managing this and still learning what is safe. My dad was recently diagnosed and I read that potatoes and white rice are not good. Is it okay if we just reduce the quantity of rice, or do we have to stop it completely?

Let's be clear: trans fats, high-fructose corn syrup, and refined starches like maida are the worst for insulin resistance. Stop drinking fruit juices thinking they are healthy; they lack fiber and spike sugar instantly. Stick to whole foods and consult a clinical dietitian.

I totally understand how hard it is to skip sweets, especially during festivals! But things like sodas, refined flour bakes, and even high-sugar fruits like grapes or cheeku in large amounts can be tricky. Maybe try substituting white rice with brown rice or dahlia, it helps a lot.

In a vegetarian diet, we often consume too many carbs like potatoes, white rice, and refined flour. These are highly glycemic and bad for diabetics. Focus on high-fiber foods like sprouts, green leafy vegetables, and whole pulses instead to keep your levels stable.

As a diabetic myself, I advise being very careful with 'sugar-free' labeled biscuits and sweets, as they often contain refined flour that spikes glucose. Foods with a high glycemic index, like white rice, honey, and instant noodles, are things we must strictly limit. Always check your post-meal readings to see what affects you.

It is completely normal to feel super anxious and overwhelmed when trying to figure out what to eat with diabetes. Generally, packed juices, maida, and white sugar are the main ones to avoid because they cause sudden spikes. Take it one meal at a time, you've got this.

My son was diagnosed with high glucose levels, so we had to change our kitchen entirely. Kids love tomato ketchup and packed snacks, but they are full of hidden corn syrup and are terrible for diabetes. We now focus on home-cooked meals with plenty of green vegetables and paneer.

At my age, my doctor wants me to live on boiled grass, but actually the real villains are sweet mithais, white bread, and soft drinks. Just stay away from these refined sugars and white carbs, or your blood test reports will keep giving you mini heart attacks!
