What are the symptoms of ovarian cancer after hysterectomy?

I had a hysterectomy a few years ago, and I'm always told to be careful about certain health issues. My neighbor asked if I knew about ovarian cancer symptoms even after the surgery. What are they?

Even after a hysterectomy, if your ovaries were left behind, they can still develop issues. Symptoms like persistent abdominal swelling, pelvic pain, or fatigue can occur. Just like I do for my thyroid, you must go for regular scans and follow-up tests with your gynecologist to monitor everything closely.

Didi, even if the uterus is removed, sometimes the ovaries are kept inside. If you feel any hard swelling in your lower stomach, pain, or if you can't eat properly because your stomach feels tight, please go to the big hospital and show the doctor. Take care of yourself.

If you still have your ovaries after the surgery, symptoms can include continuous bloating, feeling full quickly, or back pain. If your doctor says it is safe, continuing with gentle, low-impact walking is great for your overall recovery, but do not ignore these symptoms and get an ultrasound done.

It is a common misconception that a hysterectomy removes all risk, but if the ovaries were not removed, ovarian cancer can still occur with symptoms like pelvic pressure, bloating, and bowel changes. Even if they were removed, rare cases of primary peritoneal cancer can mimic these symptoms. Consulting your oncologist or gynecologist is the only correct path.

Symptoms like persistent lower belly bloating, pelvic discomfort, and feeling full fast can still happen if ovaries remain. Please get a pelvic scan done to check.

My aunt went through this post her hysterectomy. She started getting constant stomach bloating and back pain, and we thought it was just gas. Turns out her ovaries were still there and had cysts. Don't take it lightly, guys, get your moms or aunts to a doctor if they feel this way.

Haan, log sochte hain ki hysterectomy ke baad sab problem khatam ho gayi, par aisa nahi hai na. Agar ovaries abhi bhi andar hain, toh bloating, pelvic pain aur urinary problems ho sakti hain. App isse normal gastric issue mat samjho, doctor se consult karke ek baar scan karva lo.
