What are the symptoms of liver desease?

I've been feeling unusually fatigued and my skin sometimes looks a bit yellowish. My family has a history of liver issues, so I'm concerned. What are the main symptoms of liver disease that I should get checked out?

When my father was diagnosed with liver disease, his first signs were swelling in his ankles and a yellow tint in his eyes. We didn't waste time with local clinics and went straight to a major multi-specialty hospital for an LFT and ultrasound. I highly recommend consulting a proper gastroenterologist for an accurate diagnosis.

Hey, don't stress too much right away! A lot of times, simple indigestion or gas can feel like liver pain. But yeah, if you are noticing yellowing eyes, feeling nauseous all the time, or having really dark urine, it is best to just get it checked by a doc to be safe. Take care, buddy!

Many people think liver issues only happen to those who drink alcohol, but non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is very common in vegetarians due to high carb diets. Symptoms include a dull pain in the upper right abdomen and constant sluggishness. Eating a balanced diet with plenty of fiber and low sugar is key, but do see a doctor first.

Liver disease can be tricky because it often has no clear symptoms in the early stages, which is why it is called a silent disease. But watch out for chronic fatigue, dark tea-colored urine, itchy skin, and abdominal bloating. Getting an annual health package with a liver function test is the safest habit.

Let us be direct: liver disease isn't something to ignore. If your skin is itchy for no reason, your stomach is swelling, or you're constantly vomiting, those are major red flags. Get a liver panel done at a trusted lab and show it to a specialist immediately instead of waiting.

My teenage son had a liver infection last year and it started with a complete loss of appetite, mild fever, and sudden vomiting. He just didn't want to touch his food and looked very pale. As parents, we must be vigilant and get blood tests done instead of assuming it is just regular school stress.

I am so tired these days that I thought my liver was failing, but it was just my late-night binge watching. Jokes aside, actual liver disease symptoms include chronic fatigue that doesn't go away even after sleeping, pale colored stool, and yellow skin. If your eyes look like lemons, definitely skip the sleep and go to a doctor.
